One hundred and seventy-one hearts,
汇聚成同一个声音
Converging into one single voice.
他们为西藏奉献了一切
They gave everything for Tibet,
只愿自由永远延续
Praying only that freedom may endure forever.
他们是僧人 她们是尼姑
They are monks, they are nuns,
他们是父亲 她们是母亲
They are fathers, they are mothers,
她们是女儿 他们是儿子
They are daughters, they are sons.
不是为了仇恨 不是为了报复
Not for hatred, not for revenge,
而是为了真理尊严与希望
But for truth, dignity, and hope.
他们的牺牲化作一声祈祷
Their sacrifice transforms into a prayer,
世界永远无法忘记
Which the world can never forget.
