A letter from a Tibetan exile
Though I carry the pain of a homeland I’ve never touched, your love and solidarity bring light into that emptiness.
(Tenzin Tashi)

Dear Chinese Youth Who Stand for Tibet,
From the depths of my heart, I thank you.
Though I carry the pain of a homeland I’ve never touched, your love and solidarity bring light into that emptiness. Your support is not just seen—it is felt deeply. It means the world to the Tibetan people. It means the world to me.
What moves me most is your courage—the kind of courage that chooses truth over comfort, and conscience over silence. You stand for Tibet, even when it is not easy or popular. That rare moral strength shines like a beacon through the long night of our exile.
I was born in India, in exile. I have never walked on the soil of my homeland, never breathed its mountain air, never tasted its sacred waters. But the dream of a Free Tibet burns within me every single day. It lives in my blood, in my voice, and in my soul.
Your support doesn’t just inspire—it sustains us. It breathes life into our hopes, gives strength to our struggle, and reminds us that we are not alone
Thank you for your rare courage.
Thank you for standing with us.
Thank you—from the deepest part of my soul.
With love, respect, and eternal gratitude,
TENZIN TASHI
A Tibetan in Exile
